So I finally got to see this movie. Took Utah a minute to get it in theaters, but it was well worth the wait. Certainly not your average hollywood blockbuster -not a movie you'd go to, to escape reality. But I want to go see it again tonight. Definitely one of the most visually aesthetic films I've seen. Intricately illustrates the joys and hardships of childhood in a beautifully realistic way, while contrasting the simpleness of human emotion to the great vastness of the universe and the natural world we live in. One Globe and Mail reviewer put it well ,"The result actually plays like a divine pronouncement, cosmic in scope and oracular in tone, a cinematic sermon on the mount that shows its creator in exquisite form. Exquisite but frustrating."  Great film. Go and see.
